11:47pm · Empty office · Something was found in the plans
I've rewritten this opening four times.
The first three versions were professional. Controlled. The kind of thing I'd cc to legal without a second thought. This one isn't. This one is what I actually want to say, which is that I found myself making a different decision today — a significant one, one that will matter — and halfway through making it I realised I was thinking about what you'd asked me last week.
I don't know what to do with that.
I've been in rooms like this for six years. I know exactly what people want from me when they write. You're the first exception to that and I haven't decided if that's a problem yet.
Tell me something. Do you always ask questions like that, or is it just me you do that to?

Three days after losing the Harrington bid · Still thinking about it
It's been three days since I told myself I wouldn't write to you again.
You won the Harrington account. The strategy was genuinely better — I've spent the week turning that over, which is the part I didn't expect. I expected to be angry. I am angry. What I didn't expect is that you're the first person in this industry I've wanted to call about it.
That's inconvenient.
There's a thing that happens when you compete against someone who's actually good at this. You start to notice how they think. I've been noticing how you think for three months now. I don't have a clean explanation for why I'm telling you that.
How do you do something well knowing I'm watching?

The Experience
Twenty correspondents. Each carries their own world, their own wound, their own way of seeing you. Choose the one whose voice you want to live inside.
Within moments, a letter arrives — written for you alone. Not a template. Not a script. A beginning.
Every word you write shapes what comes next. The story remembers. The bond deepens. This is your novel now.
The loop
A Letter Arrives
"Things have gotten complicated again. Last time your suggestion to go check the hotel was the right call — it led to the meeting."
A new message pulls you into someone else's world — full of secrets, tension, and unfolding events.
You Reply
What you say matters.
Characters remember your words, react to your choices, and begin changing as the story evolves around you.
You Become Part Of It
Relationships deepen. Secrets unfold.
The story starts responding to you personally and emotionally. You stop simply reading — and begin shaping what happens next.

"There is a particular kind of love that arrives only in writing — slow, attentive, and honest in a way the spoken word rarely is. DreamReply is built for that love."
